University High School – Personal, Career, and School Development Skills 3

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an opportunity to experience success in school and enhance attitudes and behaviors towards learning, self, school and community. The content should include, but not be limited to, the following: refining understandings in areas such as knowledge of self and others, development of positive attitudes, relationships, peer pressure, individual responsibility, goal setting, time management, decision making, problem solving, leadership skills, life management skills, employability skills, and career planning. Special Note: This course is to be used in conjunction with office aide duty. Those participating in this course will earn a grade and credit for the course, and, as such, will have a curriculum with online modules to complete.
