Troy High School – Business Law & Management

Over a semester, students will study law and management topics relating to the business industry. With regards to management, students will study the impacts of global trade, how to manage internal and external business relationships to foster positive interactions, explain the nature and scope of quality management practices with a business and design organizational structure to facilitate business activities. Students will also be introduced to varying philosophies and how they interact with day-to-day managerial tasks. With regards to legal aspects, students will discuss current human resource laws and regulations, ethical behaviors in the workplace, study torts, civil law, negligence, contracts and fraud, and legal requirements for starting a business.
