Troy High School – Parenthood/Child Development 2

This class is eligible for advanced placement credit at Oakland Community College. Child development 2 is a one semester course that focuses on child development and guidance, including the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of preschool -elementary age children. The students will have the opportunity to identify, plan, and demonstrate developmentally appropriate activities to use when working with preschool-elementary age children. The class provides a foundation for the future study for students interested in working with children in future career areas.
