Work Based LearningWork-Based Learning placements represent the pinnacle ofthe Career-Related Education experience. To qualify for aWBL placement, a student must be in grades 11 or 12 and atleast 16 years old. Students must also have a defined CareerPathway in order to participate in a Work-Based Learningplacement. This is especially important for successfulcompletion of a student's pathway in that their job placementis directly related to the curriculum of the pathway classesthey have completed or in which they are concurrentlyenrolled. There are several opportunities for students toparticipate in work-based learning.
