This course is designed to introduce students to a variety of swimming games and water sports. It will focus on developing water swimming skills, safety, physical fitness, and teamwork. Students will learn the fundamentals of various water activities and sports, including snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle sports such as kayaking, boating education and safety, fundamental swimming strokes, entries, water polo, synchronized swimming, fitness, and water safety techniques, among others. The course will also emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for others. # SPORT-BASED COURSES * * *
Prerequisites: P.E.I and P.E. II, or have taken P.E. I and are currently enrolled in the P.E. II alternative course.
