Town Center Elementary School at Plainsboro – Philharmonic Orchestra Honors

Philharmonic Orchestra is an auditioned ensemble designed to offer advanced instrumentalists the opportunity to experience orchestral literature of the highest quality. Wind and percussion musicians are selected from the Wind Ensemble to perform full symphonic works on a regular basis. There are several performances scheduled for the school and community throughout the year. Students not selected for the Philharmonic Orchestra may elect to enroll in Symphony Orchestra (CP or Honors).
Prerequisites: Minimum of one year in String Ensemble or Symphony Orchestra, and audition
Grades: 10-12
