This course is designed to provide direct, explicit and intensive literacy instruction to students with disabilities who are reading significantly below grade level. Objectives of this course are focused on closing the gap between the student's present level of performance and the level of performance needed to successfully access the general curriculum. Enrollment in this course is an IEP team decision.
