It presents an overview of statistics, including descriptive statistics, elementary probability, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation and linear regression. The course continues the study of estimation and hypothesis testing with emphasis on advanced regression topics, experimental design, analysis of variance, chi-square tests and non-parametric methods. (Aligns with Brightpoint Community College’s equivalent Quantitative Reasoning MTH 154 and Statistics MTH 245; Six credits)
