In Advanced Cybersecurity Operations, students explore security analysis and network security, monitoring and detecting security incidents in information systems and networks. The course introduces tools and tactics to manage cybersecurity risks, identify common threats, evaluate an organization's security, collect and analyze cybersecurity intelligence, and handle cybersecurity incidents. Students will understand threats, attacks and vulnerabilities, architecture and design considerations in a business environment, implementation of security operations, risk and incident response, ethics, and cryptography. Instruction will emphasize preparation for industry certification.
