The goal of this course is to achieve a high level of proficiency in all modes of communication, including intercultural communication and communicative literacy. Students prepare to succeed on the AP German Language exam with a score of 3 or higher. An AP score of 3 or higher qualifies the student for the Seal of Biliteracy. The classes are conducted in German. (Prerequisite: WL524C/H or higher, or an Intermediate-Low in Presentational Speaking and an Intermediate-Mid proficiency level in all other modes, aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning and ACTFL proficiency scale)
