Family and Community Services is a course designed to prepare students to become a frontline public healthcare worker who serves as a liaison between healthcare/social services and the community to improve equity and access to resources within the community. As part of this course, students have the opportunity to accumulate hours that enable them to earn their Community Health Worker Certification.
