This course focuses on nonstructural repairs to automobiles. Using curriculum materials from the industry–recognized ICAR organization, students will learn about trim and hardware, material identification, steel cosmetic straightening and plastic repair, moveable glass replacement, and bolted– on parts replacement. Work–based learning strategies appropriate for this course include apprenticeship, cooperative education, entrepreneurship, internship, and job shadowing. SkillsUSA competitive events
