Sunrise Mountain High School – Fashion Design and Construction I

This one-year course is designed to provide students the fundamentals of the fashion concepts and construction. Areas of emphasis include clothing construction, textiles, marketing, customer service, and the principles and elements of design. Instructional practices incorporate integration of diversity awareness including appreciation of all cultures and their important contributions to society. The appropriate use of technology is an integral part of this course. This course fulfi lls one of the elective credits required for high school graduation.
