Sunrise Mountain High School – Advanced Manufacturing Technology I

This introductory year-long course is designed to introduce students to advanced manufacturing skills including measuring techniques, mathematical operations, 3D modeling, and materials used in manufacturing. Areas of emphasis include fundamentals of power systems, use of robotics in advanced manufacturing, control devices and manufacturing processes. Instructional practices incorporate integration of diversity awareness including appreciation of all cultures and their important contributions to society. The appropriate use of technology is an integral part of this course. This course fulfi lls one of the Arts/Humanities/CTE credits required for high school graduation. Approved April 2023.
