Student tutors may be assigned to English, reading, or mathematics laboratories in an elementary, junior, or senior high school to assist with individual student instruction. Student tutors are given direction and guidance by an assigned supervising teacher. Students applying for the program must have a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and be knowledgeable in the academic area in which they are to assist. One-half credit per semester is earned upon the satisfactory completion of the program's requirements. STUDENTS ARE LIMITED TO ONE CREDIT. This course will fulfi ll one of the elective credits required for graduation.
