This one-year course is designed for students who have successfully completed Ceramics II and will build upon knowledge of three-dimensional design specifi c to ceramics arts. Students will refi ne hand building and wheel throwing methods. Through collaboration and production, connections will be expanded between ceramics and their academic studies, lives, and the world around them. Instructional practices incorporate integration of diversity awareness including appreciation of all cultures and their important contribution to our society. The appropriate use of technology is an integral part of this course. This course fulfi lls one Arts/Humanities credit required for graduation.

Prerequisites: $" \\complement "$ or better in both semesters of Ceramics II/Teacher Recommendation Fee: $$ 30.00$ for supplies and materials
