Fee: $$ 30.00$ This one-year course will introduce students to the operational and scientifi c nature of the automotive component systems including fuel, intake, exhaust, ignition, lubrication, braking, cooling, and suspension systems. Practical application of safe work habits and the correct use of tools and precision test instruments will be emphasized throughout the course. Instructional practices incorporate integration of diversity awareness including appreciation of all cultures and their important contributions to society. The appropriate use of technology is an integral part of this course. This course fulfi lls one of the Arts/Humanities/CTE credits required for high school graduation.
