IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) 2 A is the second year in the TOK course sequence, continuing the exploration of the nature and construction of knowledge. Students will delve deeper into the assumptions, concepts, and issues underlying various disciplines and fields. The course further develops students' understanding of the interrelationships among these disciplines, as well as their ability to critically evaluate different kinds of knowledge and their conveyance through language.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of IB Theory of Knowledge 1 is required. Students should be able to analyze and synthesize information to construct written and oral arguments. This course is mandatory for IB Diploma candidates.
