The purpose of this course is to provide on-the-job training component where appropriate. The following is required for each student: a training agreement; a training plan signed by the student, teachers, and employer, including instructional objectives; a list of on-the-job and in-school learning experience, a workstation which reflects equipment, skills, and tasks which are relevant to the occupation which the student has chosen as a career goal. And a site supervisor with a working knowledge of the selected occupation. The workstation may be in an industry setting or in a virtual learning environment.
