Summer Creek High School – Art – Two Dimensional Design Portfolio – Advanced Placement

This college-level course requires students to produce a portfolio of numerous original works of art intended to address a very broad interpretation of two-dimensional design issues. This type of design involves purposeful decision-making about how to use the elements and principles of art in an integrative way. Students will demonstrate proficiency in two-dimensional design using a variety of art forms. These could include, but are not limited to, graphic design typography, digital imaging, photography, collage, fabric design, weaving, illustration, painting, and printmaking. A variety of approaches to representation, abstraction, and expression may be part of the student’s portfolio. The fee for this full year course is $$ 85$ .
