Summer Creek High School – The Performer’s Path: Building & Sustaining a Career in the Performing Arts

The Performer’s Path is a full year course where students will gain basic performing artists skills that create the platform for any successful entertainer. Students will demonstrate knowledge in self promotion and marketing, videography and sound recording/editing, messaging and identity development, and music generating software. Attendance is required at all after-school rehearsals and performances as a part of the graded curricula. Additional costs for this course may include the purchase of performance attire, rental of some instruments, instrument cleaning, maintenance, and supply expenses, as well as possible expenses relating to damage of school owned equipment. Specific costs may be obtained from the instructor at your school.
