Sullivan High School – Health Occupations
Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester
This course covers anatomy and physiology, monitoring vital signs, aseptic technique, body mechanics, nutrition, orientation to professionalism in health care, delivery and career exploration. Students design the final nine weeks of the course with five one-week internships in health care and in one health care area for four weeks. This is a dual credit course.
Prerequisites: Classified as a senior by credits; enrolled in or passed all courses required for graduation; at least a 2.0 GPA; meet Lake Land College requirements; recommendation of high school principal; provide own transportation.
