Survey of Engineering Graphics is designed to further the development of student knowledge and skills in the Engineering Drawing and Design field. Students learn to illustrate more complex objects using the Computer- Aided Drafting (CAD) system and develop skills in dimensioning, tolerancing, pictorials, sections, auxiliary views, and intersection and developments. While the term computer-aided design (CAD) does not appear in each competency, CAD tools and software should be used extensively throughout the course. Further, the standards are aligned with the national standards of the American Design Drafting
Prerequisites: Association (ADDA). Introduction to Drafting and Design
