The purpose of this course is to further the IB students' knowledge of the rudiments of music and its study, using the techniques of listening, performing and composing implemented through use of keyboard, computer-assisted instruction and/or other performance media. This course will further develop a historical perspective of music from the Plainsong Era to present day, develop an awareness of the multicultural aspect of music, and further develop social skills and further formal study of music
