Students explore and develop concepts,terminology, techniques, and applications todesign, create, print, and display original two-dimensional graphic and fine works of art. Asthey become more adept at using the tools andtechniques available to them, students designdigital still images through the single orcombined use of computers, digital cameras,scanners, photo editing software, drawing andpainting software, graphic tablets, printers, newmedia, and emerging technologies. Throughthe critique process, students evaluate andrespond to their own designs and images andthose of their peers to measure artistic growthwith increasing sophistication. This courseincorporates h and s-on activities, the use oftechnology, and consumption of art materials.
