Students regularly reflect on aesthetics andissues related to and addressed throughtheatre, and create within various aspects oftheatre in ways that are progressively moreinnovative. Students analyze increasingly moresophisticated theatre literature to inform thework of developing technical design andproduction pieces for one-acts or a largerproduction. Students assemble a portfolio thatshowcases an extensive body of workrepresenting personal vision and artistic growthover time. Public performances may serve as aculmination of specific instructional goals.Students may be required to participate inrehearsals and performances outside theschool day to support, extend, and assesslearning in the classroom.
