The primary content emphasis for this coursepertains to the study of the chronologicaldevelopment of multicultural and multiethnicgroups in the United States and their influenceon the development of American culture.Content should include, but is not limited to, theinfluence of geography on the social andeconomic development of Native Americanculture, the influence of major historical eventson the development of a multicultural Americansociety and a study of the political, economicand social aspects of Native American,Hispanic American, African American and Asian American culture.
