This year-long, formative class, designed forstudents with previous participation in a schoolchorus who have basic knowledge of note-reading and vocal technique, concentrates onproviding students opportunities to strengthenexisting skills in critical listening, vocaltechniques, and ensemble performance usinghigh-quality three- and four-part choralliterature.Rehearsals focus on gainingindependence in music literacy and aestheticengagement through critical listening andthinking skills.Admission is by teacher approval.
