This year-long, beginning-level class, designedfor students with at least one year of woodwind,brass, and/ or percussion ensembleexperience, promotes the enjoyment andappreciation of music through performance ofhigh-quality wind and percussion literature.Rehearsals focus on the development of criticallistening skills, instrumental and ensembletechnique and skills, exp and ed music literacy,and aesthetic awareness culminatinginperiodic public performances.Admission is by teacher approval.
