Approval by application This course is designed to introduce students to the profession of education. Students will focus upon the nature of the K–12 learner, including exceptional children, the process and methods of teaching, the nature of schools and schooling, and issues regarding the transformation of education. Students will be observing other classes and participating in internships. This course is the basis of the Teacher Cadet Program.
