Graphic design is the process of communicating visually using typography and images to present information. Graphic design practice embraces a range of cognitive skills, aesthetics, and crafts, including typography, visual arts, and page layout. Like other forms of design, graphic design often refers to both the process (designing) by which the communication is created and the products (designs) which are generated. \*Levels 1, 2, and 3 are required for pathway completion. This pathway is designed for those considering a career in business, especially small business. Courses provide students with the skills needed to develop and manage independent small businesses. Includes instruction in business administration; enterprise planning and entrepreneurship; start-up; small business operations and problems; personnel supervision; capitalization and investment; taxation; business law and regulations; e-commerce; home business operations; and applications to specific sectors, products, and services. \*Levels 1, 2, and 3 are required for pathway completion.
