Southeastern Elementary – Ceramics I

This course develops basic skills in the making of ceramics. The basic hand-building methods of pinch, coil, and slab are explored, as well as the use of the potter’s wheel. Students will gain a basic knowledge and understanding of art through examining the elements and principles of design as they pertain to ceramics. Completion of Art I prior to this course may be helpful.
Prerequisites: Art I Recommended
