Southeastern Elementary School – CERAMICS III: ADVANCED

This upper-level class is designed for the serious potter to explore both handbuilt and wheel-thrown methods. Students will build a cohesive body of work centered on a theme of their choosing. Students are encouraged to express personal voice and explore individual artistic style as they create portfolio-quality works through a range of scales, conceptual approaches, and the use of alternative materials. Prerequisites are Foundations of Art and Design, Hand Building AND Wheel Throwing. (Or Intro 3D or Intro 2D, Hand Building AND Wheel Throwing for 10, 11, 12)
