In the Practicum in Information Technology, students will gainadvanced knowledge and skills in the application, design,production, implementation, maintenance, evaluation, andassessment of products, services, and systems. Knowledge andskills in the proper use of analytical skills and application of ITconcepts and standards are essential to prepare students forsuccess in a technology driven society. Critical thinking, ITexperience, and product development may be conducted in aclassroom setting with an industry mentor, as an unpaid or paidinternship, as part of a capstone proiect, or as career preparation.
