South Oak Cliff High School – Varsity Danceensemble III

SCHEDULE FULL YEAR. The Varsity Dance Ensemble is the topdance ensemble at the campus and participates in all DISDactivities. Students develop performance techniques, fundamentalskills in a variety of dance genres: modern/contemporary, worlddance, ballet, jazz, tap, and social dance. Performances andrehearsals outside of the school day are required. Levels I-IV aretaught concurrently. Varsity Dance Ensemble I fulfills the fine artsrequirement for graduation. Varsity Dance Ensemble II, II, and IVare possible P.E. substitutes.
