Sotomayor High School – Health
Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester
Health Education is a critical component of the overall education of all students in Northside ISD and is a district graduation requirement. Northside ISD offers a quality health education program that provides learning opportunities that are aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for High School Health. The state adopted, and School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) Goodheart-Wilcox Texas High School Health Skills curriculum materials will be utilized to support TEKS-aligned course instruction. Educating students to develop healthy behaviors today can improve their overall health and contribute to patterns of wellness that will extend into adulthood.
