This course takes an in-depth look at engine performance, including concepts in the diagnosis and repair of ignition, fuel, emission and related computer networks. This course presents engine theory and operation and studies the various engine designs utilized today. This course also takes an in-depth look at engine performance, including advanced concepts in the diagnosis and repair of ignition, fuel, emission and related computer networks. This course presents engine theory and operation and studies the various engine designs utilized today. Hybrid/Alternative fuel technology will also be introduced. This is a required course in the Automotive Services Pathway.
Prerequisites: Automotive Services A with an average grade of C or better
