Shadow Ridge High School – Child Development Careers
Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester
This program will provide students with skills necessary for entry-level jobs in child care occupations. Instruction will include on-the-job experience in caring for infants, toddlers, preschool and school age children in various settings. Instruction in childcare facility standards, state regulations, job search techniques and advanced training opportunities will also be offered. Students will be encouraged to pursue their education in child development at the community college level. 180 hours plus additional community classroom hours.
