0.5sem This course is an interdisciplinary exploration of the historical emergence and construction of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning $( \\mathsf { L G B T Q + } )$ history and culture. The course is designed for all students interested in learning more about the LGBTQ+ community and its history. The course will investigate LGBTQ+ History in the United States with a large focus on the sociopolitical aspects of history as an avenue to apply disciplinary literacy skills. Students will engage in activities that will further develop important critical thinking and inquiry skills.
