Severna Park High – Practical Programming

This course incorporates engineering design principles to solve various real life engineering projects. Design, build and test an amusement park ride or design and build a new household system that solves a homeowners problem. The engineering design process will be used as a framework to guide student solutions and designs. Programable micro controllers with ‘drag and drop’ programming software and various sensors will be tools used to accomplish robotic system challenges. This course satisfies the Basic Technology graduation requirement.
