Severna Park High – Honors Apex Arts Guitar 3

This course is designed to expand upon the skills and techniques developed in Levels 1 and 2. The student will master the essential techniques for guitar performance in a variety of musical styles. The student will perform as a soloist, collaboratively with other guitarists and as a collaborative member of mixed vocal and instrumental ensembles. This course is available at Broadneck High School only. This course is designed to refine students’ musicianship by building on the guitar skills and techniques developed in previous levels. The focus is on original composition, preparing students for solo performance and audition for college and career choices. This course is available only at Broadneck High School.
