This course teaches students the social skills needed to prepare students to be successful in classroom and community settings. Topics may include self-control, self-expression, obeying rules, decisionmaking, appropriate situational behavior, interacting with others, and maintaining relationships. Students may develop independence, selfconfidence, and self-reliance. This course is available to students with a Section 504 Plan or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
