This course develops an understanding of Latin language fundamentals and Greco-Roman culture with an emphasis on key communication skills, including reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Latin vocabulary and grammar build a foundation for reading Latin texts and gaining insight into the English language and the impact of Greco-Roman art, history, culture, and mythology on the modern world. Language learning is facilitated through projects, presentations, class discussions and technology-based activities.
