Salem High School – Computer Graphics & Design I

Grades 9-12 This is a full year course that introduces the student to the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to understand graphic design. Computer skill and design are developed through a series of project-based assignments. Computer skills are honed using a wide range of computer software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Projects are centered around both artistic design and business graphics. They include activities such as sketching, symbol/logo design, typography, illustration, magazines, CD layout, photo editing, t-shirt design, and screen printing.
