Salem High School – Introduction to Video Production

Course 04550 Grades 9-12 Learn about the basics of television production. The first half of the class will provide fundamental information about cameras, lighting, sound, script writing and studio production. The class will begin with fundamental information. Once these lessons are completed, students will be divided into groups and have hands-on studio and editing experiences. The students will learn the Apple - Final Cut Pro, Motion and Logic software. Students will also learn the structure for writing screenplays and will study set design, plot, color and sound through film analysis. This class is the prerequisite for any advanced production classes.
