Salem High School – Engineering - Computer Aided Design I

Grades 9-12 Course approved for Visual, Performing, and Applied Arts or Applied Mathematics. Students will explore the Engineering Design Process in the creation of CAD drawings and designs. with the completion of student designed projects, students will further develop their skills through 3D printing, laser cutting/etching, waterjet processes, and more. Students will use the shop to develop their projects and learn safety, quality, and the manufacturing processes. In addition, students will explore careers in engineering, construction, and architecture. Certifications to Achieve: Autodesk Inventor Certified User
