Salem High School – Advanced Web Design

Grades 10-12 In this course students build on the knowledge and skills gained in Web Design to create more complex websites. This course will begin with the application of advanced HTML tags and CSS, and will continue with students learning to use Adobe CS6 Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver - a leading software package for creating professional-grade websites. The final project for this course is a web-based professional portfolio containing all of the student’s previous Web and Advanced Web projects, along with other high school accomplishments. Upon completion of this course, students will possess marketable skills necessary to design and maintain websites as a career.
