Saguaro High School – Drawing/Painting IV

This course can be taken in conjunction with, or in addition to, the AP Studio Art course. This program is for the very talented and motivated art students. This course will give students additional studio time to complete their rigorous AP art portfolio, along with time to design special projects, (i.e. murals), the opportunity to plan a senior exhibition or the opportunity to go out into the community to explore arts-related careers.
Prerequisites: Drawing/Painting III, Honors Drawing/Painting III and site approval This 4th level course is for the highly motivated art student. At this level, students will work independently while continuing to develop conceptual ideas and refine technical skills. Students will complete a personal portfolio. Enrollment in this course will allow students to develop conceptual ideas and refine technical skills.
