Animation I introduces students to the art of animation through a blend of traditional approaches and modern methods. Students will learn about various career opportunities in the professional field of animation and become familiar with industry standards. Additionally, the Animation I course emphasizes the history of animation, the principles of animation, 2D animation techniques, motion graphics, and an introduction to 3D animation.
Prerequisites: Digital Media OR Principles of Arts, A/V Technology, and Communications OR Waiver by instructor Audio/Video Production I 5850
