Careers in audio/video span all aspects of the industry. Within this context, students will develop technical knowledge and skills needed for success in the Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications Career Cluster. Students will be expected to develop a technical understanding of the industry with a focus on skill proficiency. Learning will be framed around student-led capstone projects, workplace visits, and other work-based opportunities. Students will demonstrate mastery across a wide variety of skills related to the production process. Students are expected to be self-motivated, self-directed, task-oriented, and meet hard ● A single credit option is available in cases where there are scheduling conflicts. ● Students may engage in off-campus work-based learning experiences and work with the instructor to arrange logistics. ● Industry-Based Certification available.
